Biography

Angela Neville was born in London in 1966 and moved to the Essex countryside just before her fifth birthday. She left school at fifteen after having already written her first full-length novel, Will Berry, which was the basis for The Season Saga. She enjoyed success in young writer’s festivals for the Royal Court and BBC Radio Drama.

In her thirties she returned to study and completed courses in film making and teaching. She has been involved in radio drama for many years as a writer, director and actor - favourite roles have included playing a potato and a dock plant. Writing has always continued around jobs in archaeology, public and school libraries, education and the civil service. Inspiration has come from diverse sources; Egyptian dancing, archaeology and her Irish heritage.
